The Eurovan is available in two wheelbases, with the longer van measuring 16'9". With the short wheelbase model, the load length behind the cab is actually shorter than the previous (vanagon) model, due to the engine now being located at the front. Hence I chose the LWB version, I was confident I could put up with the extra 400mm in day-to-day use. However, you can always dream.....
This is a stock LWB Eurovan. These are 400mm longer than the SWB, all between the side loading door and the rear wheels.
This is the first extended wheelbase model, note the longer rear pane
An even longer design incorporates a section of bodywork between cab and side-loading door
The largest model uses a lengthened rear overhang and 3 window panes
